I wish it were possible to give Northwest Driving School a 200% instead of just the 100% five-star review! As a first time driver with no prior experience, I was able to pass my first ever drive test with a 96% after completing 8-hours of behind-the-wheel lessons. Book with Northwest Driving School and with the one and only Margaret Estrada!!!! ❤️ Not only is she an amazing instructor, whole-heartedly knowledgeable about driving and what the test examiners are watching out for, she is HEAVEN-SENT! During the morning of my test day, I was rescheduled the same day for the afternoon by the DMV because of tinted windshields. In despair, I contacted my instructor, Margaret Estrada, and she went out of her way to show up extremely last minute after finishing a lesson, with a Northwest Driving School vehicle so that I could test! 🥹 Margaret Estrada provided me with the above and beyond customer service we all would love to experience from businesses! For anyone conducting their Nevada driving school research, please let this be your sign to book with Northwest Driving School and if anything, please book with the lovely Margaret Estrada! She made me feel very confident in my driving skills to the point that I was smiling during my drive test! North west driving school was the best decision I made for myself. Driving had always been one of my biggest fears but I decided to take on the challenge after doing some research and landing on NWDS. I decided to choose Ms Debra Settle as my driving instructor as I read a lot of really good reviews about her, and I stuck with her throughout my 25 lessons because I really liked her style of teaching. I had never driven before and in my second lesson with her, I was on the freeway!! Debra has a way of validating your fears but helping you understand how to overcome them and how to be safe on the road. She gave great instructions, made me understand that it’s okay to make mistakes and how I can learn from them instead of dwelling on them. She made the atmosphere very comfortable, often just talking to me like a friend which made me way less nervous to drive, because it felt normal. She taught me how to be assertive, while also ensuring that I understood how to keep myself and others safe on the road. She had me drive all over the vegas valley to let me get a taste of different scenarios, intersections, and what to do in an unfamiliar or uncomfortable situation. She also constantly gave reminders about the appointments and gave courtesy texts when she was on her way. Because of her, I passed my drive test today and can finally say I am a licensed driver!!! Debra, thank you a million times over, i will carry your kind words and wisdom with me forever. You are truly special.

I want to say I have been so pleased using NWDS. I reached out to Debra personally for our son for a lesson to boost his confidence. For he attempted twice and just wasn’t ready to pass. Debra responded immediately. He just passed his test today with a 99%.
His sisters used them last year for lessons. Also passing drive test with the DMV on their first try. We used the package deal utilizing their vehicle and lesson just before the drive test appointment. I believe other instructors are good but we chose to go with Debra. We could not have been happier with anyone else.
She was very thorough and followed through the process with myself and the kids. It helped that she is very knowledgeable about the rules and laws. Explaining in detail and offers scenarios or a reason why it’s so important.
I highly recommend if your child needs a little extra guidance and mostly to make parents at ease. Choose NWDS, they go above and beyond. Even Luke in the office goes an extra mile with providing value information.

Debra Settle taught all 3 of my kids, they learned so much from her! She patient, calm and clear with instructions and directions. All 3 kids were confident in their driving abilities and passed with flying colors. genuinely helped me a lot, my instructor Debra was helpful and compassionate, funny and kind and very understanding of my past fears. there were moments where i really thought to myself “i can’t believe i’m doing this, and i’m okay and even enjoy the drive.”, to me that’s big and the most progress with overcoming fears i’ve done so far. Debra was an amazing instructor, the program is flexible to you which is super helpful.

I had a great experience learning to drive with Habtu. He was very patient and calm, which helped me feel less nervous, especially in the beginning. He made a lot of jokes that made me laugh. He explained things in a way that was easy to understand and gave helpful tips that actually stuck to me. Thanks to him, I passed my driving test and feel confident driving on my own.

I am SO grateful we found NWDS! My son did 10 hours with Debra and Margaret and they were such amazing teachers! He enjoyed his time driving with them and said they helped him a lot!
